it was launched while the rain was still on the other side of the road, you know
and then people gathered around all of a sudden, recognizing each other’s faces
and the smiles, and the pity they all we were wearing.
and erm…the girl there, naked dancer spreading all over their worlds fancies and things like that
still, nobody wanted to rescue her, you know
‘cause she was helping them
so she couldn’t help but spreading on and on
and in the meanwhile her face was getting a little more red and red and red.
each second she breathed, a little more death inside. drowning into some kind of a… erm… people smog, you know. plunging unconsciously into human consciousness.
and she felt horrible about it, you know. she felt like betraying everyone of them. every single cell of their bodies had in some kind of way become one of her. but she couldn’t accept that miscellaneous passion growing inside her belly. she couldn’t accept that new breath inside her lungs. a thousand new breaths at the same time, a thousand people smiling for you, eating for you, living for you. she couldn’t accept their lives in her.
so she decided to quit. have a beer or two. get drunk. just enough to be able to remember all her gestures. but hard enough to forget it all right afterwards.
then she did it.
